Through the website chat and contact form, we may collect:

• Details about the electrical job or enquiry you are making

We also collect technical information automatically when you browse our website:

This technical information is collected via Google Analytics.

3. How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you when you use the chat feature or submit the contact form on our website.

Technical browsing data is collected automatically via Google Analytics, but only if you have granted cookie consent when prompted on your first visit.

4. Why we collect it

We use your personal information to:

• Respond to your enquiry
• Provide a quote for electrical work
• Schedule and carry out electrical services
• Follow up on jobs we have completed

Analytics data is used solely to understand how the website is used and to improve it. It is not used to identify you personally.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Google — for website analytics, subject to your cookie consent
• Resend — our email delivery service, used to send enquiry notifications to NS Electrics. Your contact details are included in those notifications.
• Supabase — our secure database provider, where enquiry records are stored

All third-party providers are contractually bound to handle your data appropriately and only for the purposes we specify.

6. How we store and protect it

Enquiry records are stored in a secure, encrypted database (Supabase). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols. Access is restricted to NS Electrics staff only.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiry and contact records are retained for 24 months from the date of collection, or until the matter they relate to is resolved, whichever is later.

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).

8. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles

Under the APPs, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request corrections to information that is inaccurate or out of date
• Request deletion of your personal information

9. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data about how visitors use our website. This is only activated if you accept cookies via the consent banner shown on your first visit.
